The IPSP “Palaeontology-Geobiology”
is supported by the School of Geology A.U.Th. (Leader);
the School of Biology, A.U.Th.; the School of Geology
and Geoenvironment, University of Athens; the School
of Geology of the University of Patras and the School
of Geography of the Aegean University of Greece. It
includes the following Specializations:
- Macropalaeontology
- Micropalaeontology-Biostratigraphy
The duration of the IPSP which leads
to the acquisition of the Postgraduate Diploma (Master
degree) is defined as three (3) semesters minimum (90
ECTS), and includes the implementation and defense of
a Postgraduate Diploma Thesis (PDT- Master Thesis).
The maximum permissible time for completion of studies
is four (4) semesters.
