Sunday Post Congress Excursions

  1. The Excursion in Saint George Kilkis Cave

  2. After a request of the participants, a second trip has been scheduled in the paleontologic province of Grevena, where the longest tusks of Mamut Borsoni ever found in the world are exhibited.

We are happy to announce you that up to the end of November the proceedings of the Congress will be already published. They will be a special volume of the Scientific Annales, Geology School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Also, another edition regarding the excursion of Almopia is under preparation. The edition is an illustrated complete guide concerning geologic, paleontologic and speleologic matters. It will include maps of the area and the caves, photographs and general information.

The exhibition of the fossil material found in Loutra Cave has almost been completed to a new building opposite to the congress building .
