Students finish their studies and are awarded the B.Sc. in Geology after having completed a minimum of 240 ECTS credits from the total number of courses: From the compulsory courses 185-190 ECTS and from the optional courses 52-55 ECTS.

The Syllabus contains the following directions:

  • Structural Geology and Stratigraphy
  • Applied Geology
  • Mineralogy-Petrology
  • Economic Geology
  • Geophysics
  • Meteorology and Climatology
  • Environmental Geography
Optical Mineralogy Class

Students can apply for courses not included in the programme of the School of Geology, but taught in other Schools of the University. These courses can not be more than 2 and must be related to the Geosciences. In this case the approval of the School of Geology and of the other School both are required.
